How long is the process of legally changing your name?

I was wondering how long it usually takes to legally change your name. I've heard from one month, and then someone told me about a year. O_O Does anyone know for sure?



Also, how long does it take to get a new Social Security Number? Drivers License?

Changing your name takes between 3-6 weeks and getting a new social security card is about one month and a driver's license the same day provided you have all the documents. Good luck.
