How does he maintain a social security number?

If he's going to look like this forever, wouldn't heed need to constantly change his birthdate?

And since he's also a foreign citizen, wouldn't that cause more problems, being from the European Union?

everytime they move he goes and gets new (and forged) passports, drivers licesnces, birth certificates, medical licences, etc

it is explained that the man who does this is payed alot of money by them to keep quite and that he is very very good at his job. it is also explained that jasper intimidates him (which i find quite funny)

Edward is not a foreign citizen. He was born in Chicago, so he's an US citizen. His vampire dad, Carlisle Cullen, was born in England, but he's the only one who came from the Europe. The rest of the Cullens were born somewhere in the United States.



Yes, he would need to change his birth year every few years or so. I think the fourth book talked about a lawyer or something the Cullens went to for legal documents like a passport, birth certificate, etc. Jasper Cullen helps them out in that department whenever the family needs to change their birth year or needs a new document. If you read Breaking Dawn, it's all explained in there. It's illegal, yes, but that's how they do it. I mean, who wants to explain why your driver's license says you're over a hundred years old when you look seventeen?
First off you should read before you go talking big. If you had read all the books you wouldn't be asking this question because it is perfectly explained throughout. Second he is not foreign he was born within the U.S he was in Chicago when Carlisle changed him. They do change there birthdate, in Breaking Dawn a man found by Jasper is introduced and he handles all of their legal documents. They move around alot and because Edward is frozen at seventeen he can range in age when they move.
He and the other Cullens (aside from Carlise) were born in the U.S.

They change their birthdate, fake deaths, leave places, forge documents, pretned to be different ages every few years. Jasper has a contact whom we met in Breaking Dawn. He handles are the illegal doccuments. Edward can pretend to be anywhere from 15 to 19 so if people start talking about how Edward doesn't look his age, they can use him to gauge when it is time to move on.
