How does DMV verify age/information for license?

I am about to get a license, and was recently married but did not change my name through Social Security yet - I have used my married name on military ID - The DMV says I can use my military ID as proof of identification, but also wants a social security number - I was wondering if anyone knows if this would cause a problem my SSI name, and the name on military ID being different - would they even see this? I am not sure how they verify the information. Any help would be appreciated Thanks.

just bring in your marriage certificate along with you too and explain to them that the your still waiting on a new card.

if anything they will tell you to wait till the card comes in, so you may want to get that paper work started

You need to change your name first with Social Security and then apply for your license.
If you have a passport, or a certified copy of your birth certificate, use that. It is 100% for either of those documents.
