How can you find out which state someone changed their name?

My husband had his name changed and flees from state to state trying to avoid paying the remainder of child support that he owes me. He now resides in Wyoming. I have his social security number but Wyoming says that I have to have proof of his name change. How can you know if he has had his name changed or if if he is only going under alias names? He told me that he had his birth certificate changed.
How can you find out which state someone changed their name?
That's bunk. His social security # will show where he works. Your Child and Youth service in your county tracks it FOR you like that. Anyone telling you otherwise is lying to you. If he's working (no matter what name he goes by) then you can get child support. If he's not working (or under the table) well then yes, then you have a problem but an attorney through legal-aide should be able to find him for you a lot easier than you can. Name changes are public record though so if you check the county offices of anywhere you think he might have lived (can do this online in most states) that is how you'd find the information.
